Inclement weather office delays/closures - February 3
Our Myrtle Beach and Rock Hill offices will open at 10:00 am Tuesday, February 3 due to inclement weather. The Charleston office will remain closed due to an unresolved maintenance issue as a result of the storm. Thank you for your patience as our staff works to correct this issue as soon as possible!
Clarendon County's 1% School District Tax will expire on June 30, 2025. Beginning July 1, 2025, retailers should stop collecting the 1% School District Tax when making sales and deliveries in Clarendon County.
Clarendon County’s new Sales Tax rate will be 7%, reduced from 8%.
Retailers making sales and deliveries into Clarendon County should not report the School District Tax beginning with their July 2025 return, due August 20, 2025.
South Carolina’s statewide Sales and Use Tax rate is 6%. Clarendon County imposes an additional 1% Local Option Tax.
