The SCDOR has published its annual update of the state's Withholding Tax Tables. Employers and payroll providers should begin using both the 2026 Withholding Tables and the 2026 SC W-4 on January 1, 2026.
Taxpayers should check their withholding early each year, after tax law has changed, or if they have experienced significant life changes, including:
