Filing deadline extended to October 15, 2026

Taxpayers may need additional time to file, so the SCDOR is automatically extending the tax filing due date for all 2025 South Carolina Individual Income Tax returns to October 15, 2026.

Alcohol server training deadline extended to May 1, 2026

Servers and managers who have not yet completed an approved alcohol server training program as required under SC Code Section 61-3-120(B) now have until May 1 to complete training.

SCDOR collects more than $50 million from Top Delinquent Taxpayers lists

Collections from taxpayers included on the SCDOR’s Top Delinquent Taxpayers lists crossed the $50 million mark in 2025, the agency announced Wednesday.

The SCDOR launched the Top Delinquent Taxpayers lists in 2020. As of December 31, 2025, the state’s top tax debtors have paid the state $54,484,057 in past-due taxes after being included on the lists.
